refactor: introduce enum class for MnType and clean up implementation accordingly (#5200)
## Issue being fixed or feature implemented
expressions like `nType == MnType::HighPerformance.index` look pretty
confusing in current implementation of 4k HPMN.

Changing `uint8_t` index to `enum class MnType : uint8_t` give pros:
- switch inside GetMnType() and any similar code will show a compiler
warning if any type is missing.
- instead "MnType::HighPerformance.index" you can write
MnType::HighPerformance
 - you can remove confusing `.index` from MnType

But also Cons:
- instead `log("%d", nType)` you need to write `log("%d",
static_cast<int>(nType))`;

## What was done?
Introduced new enum class MnType and rewritten generating
Regular/HighPerformance objects with params (description, collateral
amount, etc).

Also were added attributes [[no_discard]] for related code.

## How Has This Been Tested?
Run unit/functional tests

## Breaking Changes
No breaking changes.

This was implemented in https://github.com/dashpay/dash/pull/3017.
I believe we can safely remove this now

refactor: numerous changes to avoid passing around a const ref to shared_ptr of CDeterministicMNC when not needed. (#4653)
* refactor: numerous changes to avoid passing around a const ref to shared_ptr of CDeterministicMNC when not needed.

Introduces ForEachMNShared, a version of ForEachMN that uses a shared_ptr, and may extend the lifetime of the underlying shared_ptr. This is not preferred, should prefer ForEachMN. See docs.

Adjusts ForEachMN to pass a reference. This is preferred for use over ForEachMNShared. See docs. A reference should be used since in usage we assume it's non-null anyway. Additionally, it allows us to know that the lifespan of the dmn is not being being extended (if lifespan needs to be extended, should use ForEachMNShared.

IsMNValid, IsMNPoSeBanned, UpdateMN, UpdateMN, AddUniqueProperty, DeleteUniqueProperty, UpdateUniqueProperty now take a const reference to CDeterministicMN instead of a const reference to shared_ptr<CDeterministicMN>. All of these functions previously assumed (or would've crashed) a non-null ptr, and non extended lifetime, as such converting to ref is appropriate.

CompareByLastPaid ptr overload now takes raw ptr instead of a const ref to shared. Since we simply dereference them, a raw ptr makes the most sense. This also avoids a potential expensive and implicit raw ptr -> shared ptr conversion if the function was called with raw ptrs.

rpcevo BuildDMNListEntry now takes a const ref for reasons as stated above

Merge #13258: uint256: Remove unnecessary crypto/common.h dependency
bf2e01097 uint256: Remove unnecessary crypto/common.h use (Karl-Johan Alm)

Pull request description:

  This is an alternative to #13242 which keeps the `ReadLE64` part, but moves the `crypto/common.h` dependency into `crypto/common.h` as a function outside of `uint256`.

  **Reason:** this change will remove dependencies for `uint256` to `crypto/common.h`, `compat/endian.h`, and `compat/byteswap.h`.

  This PR removes the need to update tests to be endian-aware/-independent, but keeps the (arguably dubious) `ReadLE64` part (which was only introduced to fix the tests, not for any functionality).

Merge #9753: Add static_assert to prevent VARINT(<signed value>)
499d95e27 Add static_assert to prevent VARINT(<signed value>) (Russell Yanofsky)

Pull request description:

  Using VARINT with signed types is dangerous because negative values will appear to serialize correctly, but then deserialize as positive values mod 128.

  This commit changes the VARINT macro to trigger a compile error by default if called with an signed value, and it updates existing broken uses of VARINT to pass a special flag that lets them keep working with no changes in behavior.

  There is some discussion about this issue here: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/9693#issuecomment-278701473. I think another good change along these lines would be to make `GetSizeOfVarInt` and `WriteVarInt` throw exceptions if they are passed numbers less than 0 to serialize. But unlike this change, that would be a change in runtime behavior, and need more consideration.

Pull request description:

  Use `std::unique_ptr` (C++11) where possible.

  Rationale:
  1. Avoid resource leaks (specifically: forgetting to `delete` an object created using `new`)
  2. Avoid undefined behaviour (specifically: double `delete`:s)

  **Note to reviewers:** Please let me know if I've missed any obvious `std::unique_ptr` candidates. Hopefully this PR should cover all the trivial cases.

7a440d626b Optimize on-disk deterministic masternode storage to reduce size of evodb (#3017)
* Implement CompactFull() in CDBWrapper

This allows to compact the whole DB in one go.

* Implement more compact version of CDeterministicMNListDiff

This introduces CDeterministicMNStateDiff which requires to only store
fields on-disk which actually changed.

* Avoid writing mnUniquePropertyMap to disk when storing snapshots

This map can be rebuilt by simply using AddMN for each deserialized MN.

* Implement Serialize/Unserialize in CScript

This allows us to directly use READWRITE() on scripts and removes the need
for the ugly cast to CScriptBase. This commit also changes all Dash specific
uses of CScript to not use the cast.

* Keep track of registeration counts and introduce internalID for masternodes

The "internalId" is simply the number of MNs registered so far when the
new MN is added. It is deterministic and stays the same forever.

* Use internalId as keys in MN list diffs

This reduces the used size on-disk.

* Two simple speedups in MN list diff handling

1. Avoid full compare if dmn or state pointers match in BuildDiff
2. Use std::move when adding diff to listDiff in GetListForBlock

* Implement upgrade code for old CDeterministicMNListDiff format to new format

* Track tipIndex instead of tipHeight/tipBlockHash

* Store and pass around CBlockIndex* instead of block hash and height

This allows us to switch CDeterministicMNManager::GetListForBlock to work
with CBlockIndex.

* Refactor CDeterministicMNManager::GetListForBlock to require CBlockIndex*

Instead of requiring a block hash. This allows us to remove blockHash and
prevBlockHash from CDeterministicMNListDiff without the use of cs_main
locks in GetListForBlock.

* Remove prevBlockHash, blockHash and nHeight from CDeterministicMNListDiff

* Remove access to determinisitcMNManager in CMasternodeMetaMan::ToString()

The deterministic MN manager is not fully initialized yet at the time this
is called, which results in an empty list being returned everytime.

* Better logic to determine if an upgrade is needed

Reuse the "best block" logic to figure out if an upgrade is needed. Also
use it to ensure that older nodes are unable to start after the upgrade
was performed.

* Return null block hash if it was requested with getmnlistdiff

* bump CGovernanceManager::SERIALIZATION_VERSION_STRING

* Check SERIALIZATION_VERSION_STRING before deserializing anything else

* Invoke Clear() before deserializing just to be sure

b9aadc071b Fix excessive memory use when flushing chainstate and EvoDB (#3008)
* Specialize Serialize(CSizeComputer&) for BLS objects

Speeds up size computation for BLS objects.

* Track memory usage in CDBTransaction and CEvoDB

* Take memory used by CEvoDB/CDBTransaction into account when flushing

* Implement specialized SerReadWrite for immer maps

This allows to use READWRITE and fixes compilation errors with CSizeComputer

864856688d Multiple speed optimizations for deterministic MN list handling (#2972)
* Generalize CBLSLazyWrapper so that it can be used of pubkeys and secret keys

* Implement == and != operators for CBLSLazyWrapper

* Implement cached hash for CBLSLazyWrapper

* Use CBLSLazyPublicKey for CDeterministicMNState::pubKeyOperator

* Speed up GetProjectedMNPayees by sorting the MN list by last paid

Instead of updating a temporary list for each projected height and calling
GetMNPayee() on it.

* Cache intermediate lists in GetListForBlock

This avoids re-loading and applying diffs again and again.

* Only update masternode list UI max once every 3 seconds

This avoids updating the UI on every block, which turned out to be very
expensive.

* Fix compilation

* Drop time restrictions for mn list update in ClientModel

They are fully handled by MasternodeList now.
