refactor: add a new flag disable_mocktime to set_test_params()
It's better than re-implement setup_nodes each time when you want just disable mocktime.
It seems more error prune and the code is shorter

Pull request description:

This PR fixes tests for when BDB is not compiled. Tests which rely on or test legacy wallet behavior are disabled and skipped when BDB is not compiled. For the components of some tests that are for legacy wallet things, those parts of the tests are skipped.

For the majority of tests, changes are made so that they can be run with either legacy wallets or descriptor wallets without materially effecting the test. Most tests only need the wallet for balance and transactions, so the type of wallet is not an important part of those tests. Additionally, some tests are wallet agnostic and modified to instead use the test framework's MiniWallet.

Merge bitcoin/bitcoin#22257: test: refactor: various (de)serialization helpers cleanups/improvements

2ce7b47958c4a10ba20dc86c011d71cda4b070a5 test: introduce `tx_from_hex` helper for tx deserialization (Sebastian Falbesoner)

Pull request description:

There are still many functional tests that perform conversions from a hex-string to a message object (deserialization) manually. This PR identifies all those instances and replaces them with a newly introduced helper `tx_from_hex`.

  Instances were found via
  * `git grep "deserialize.*BytesIO"`

and some of them manually, when it were not one-liners.

Further, the helper `ToHex` was removed and simply replaced by `.serialize().hex()`, since now both variants are in use (sometimes even within the same test) and using the helper doesn't really have an advantage in readability. e70512a83c69bc85e96b08ade725594eda3e230f Make ordering of zmq consumption irrelevant to functional test (Gregory Sanders)

Pull request description:

Tests written to better define what messages are sent when. Also did a bit of refactoring to make sure the exact notification channel ordering doesn't matter.

Confusions below aside, I believe having these more descriptive tests helps describe what behavior we expect from ZMQ notificaitons.

  Remaining confusion:
  1) Notification patterns seem to vary wildly with the inclusion of mempool transactions being reorg'ed. See difference between "Add zmq test for transaction pub during reorg" and "Have zmq reorg test cover mempool txns" commits for specifics.
  2) Why does a reorg'ed transaction get announced 3 times? From what I understand it can get announced once for disconnected block, once for mempool entry. What's the third? It occurs a 4th time when included in a block(not added in test)

3e730bf90aaf53c41ff3a778f6aac15d163d1c0c zmq: Fix due to invalid argument and multiple notifiers (João Barbosa)

Pull request description:

ZMQ initialization is interrupted if any notifier fails, and in that case all notifiers are destroyed. The notifier shutdown assumes that the initialization had occurred. This is not valid when there are multiple notifiers and any except the last fails to initialize.

Can be tested by running test/functional/interface_zmq.py from this branch with bitcoind from master.

  Closes #17185.

Pull request description:

This PR adds support for ZeroMQ to listen on multiple interfaces, just like the RPC server.
Currently, if you specify more than one e.g. `zmqpubhashblock` paramter, only the first one will be used. Therefore a user may be forced to listen on all interfaces (e.g. `zmqpubhashblock=0.0.0.0:28332`), which can result in an increased attack surface.
With this PR a user can specify multiple interfaces to listen on, e.g.
  `-zmqpubhashblock=tcp://127.0.0.1:28332 -zmqpubhashblock=tcp://192.168.1.123:28332`.

e231efc224 Merge #16598: test: Remove confusing hash256 function in util
afc0966d725aeeb8842dc264bd48f0e9c41f6a34 Moved and renamed hash256 from util.py to zmq_interface.py (Elichai Turkel)

Pull request description:

Right now there are two `hash256(bytes)` in the test framework:
  first: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/test/functional/test_framework/util.py#L186
  second: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/test/functional/test_framework/messages.py#L60

While they have the same name they're actually doing different things, one just does a sha256d and the other sha256d and reverses the bytes.
so I renamed the second one to be `hash256r` to signify that it's hash256 reversed.

Pull request description:

Currently the test_runner would exit if the wallet was not compiled into the Bitcoin Core executable. However, a lot of the tests run without the wallet just fine and there is no need to globally require the wallet to run the tests.

Merge #14179: qa: Fixups to "Run all tests even if wallet is not compiled"
fa8433e379 qa: Remove unneded import_deterministic_coinbase_privkeys overwrite, add comments (MarcoFalke)
e413c2ddd1 qa: Fix codespell error and have lint-spelling error instead of warn (MarcoFalke)

Pull request description:

Currently the functional tests require the wallet module to be compiled into the Bitcoin Core executable. For example the premine (or datadir cache) to speed up tests when run in parallel would mine a bunch of blocks and store the private keys to sign the coinbase tx outputs in a wallet. There is no need to have the overhead of the whole wallet module by using keys that are deterministic for all runs.

Note that this change most likely requires the `./test/cache/` to be cleared.

Merge #13054: tests: Enable automatic detection of undefined names in Python tests scripts. Remove wildcard imports.
68400d8b96 tests: Use explicit imports (practicalswift)

Pull request description:

Enable automatic detection of undefined names in Python tests scripts. Remove wildcard imports.

Wildcard imports make it unclear which names are present in the namespace, confusing both readers and many automated tools.

An additional benefit of not using wildcard imports in tests scripts is that readers of a test script then can infer the rough testing scope just by looking at the imports.

Merge #13051: qa: Normalize executable location
fa811b0 qa: Normalize executable location (MarcoFalke)

Pull request description:

This removes the need to override the executable locations by just reading them from the config file. Beside making the code easier to read, running individual test on Windows is now possible by default (without providing further command line arguments).

Note: Of course, it is still possible to manually specify the location through the `BITCOIND` environment variable, e.g. `bitcoin-qt`.

82b2712 [tests] move witness util functions to blocktools.py (John Newbery)
1e10854 [tests] [docs] update README for new test naming scheme (John Newbery)

Pull request description:

Splitting #11774 into two parts -- this part updates the README with the proposed naming convention, and adds some checks to test_runner.py that the number of tests violating the naming convention doesn't increase too much. Idea is this part of the change should not introduce merge conflicts or require much rebasing, so reviews of the complicated bits won't become invalidated too often; while the second part will just be file renames, which will require regular rebasing and will introduce merge conflicts with pending PRs, but can be merged later, and should also be much easier to review, since it will only include relatively trivial changes.

90600bc7db [tests] Rename wallet_* functional tests. (Anthony Towns)
ca6523d0c8 [tests] Rename feature_* functional tests. (Anthony Towns)

Pull request description:

This PR changes the functional tests to have a consistent naming scheme:

tests for individual RPC methods are named rpc_...
tests for interfaces (REST, ZMQ, RPC features) are named interface_...
tests that explicitly test the p2p interface are named p2p_...
tests for wallet features are named wallet_...
tests for mining features are named mining_...
tests for mempool behaviour are named mempool_...
tests for full features that aren't wallet/mining/mempool are named feature_...

Rationale: it's sometimes difficult for new contributors to know what's already covered by existing tests and where new tests should be added. Naming in a consistent fashion makes it easier to see what's already covered at a glance.
