b212f21c15 Implement new way of concentrated signature recovery
Instead of propagating all sig shares to all LLMQ members, this will now
make all members send their individual sig share to a single member, which
is then responsible for the recovery and propagation of the recovered
signature. This process is repeated by all members every second for another
target/recovering member, until a recovered signature appears.

Pull request description:

  These changes are required to allow the Bitcoin source to build with Microsoft's C++ compiler (#11562 is also required).

  I looked around for a better place for the typedef of ssize_t which is in random.h. The best candidate looks like src/compat.h but I figured including that header in random.h is a bigger change than the typedef. Note that the same typedef is in at least two other places including the OpenSSL and Berkeley DB headers so some of the Bitcoin code already picks it up.

fb6f6b1 bluematt's testnet-seed now supports x9 (and is just a static list) (Matt Corallo)

Pull request description:

  4440710 broke inserting entries into addrman from dnsseeds which
  did not support service bits, as well as static seeds. Static seeds
  were already being filtered by UA for 0.13.1+ (ie NODE_WITNESS), so
  simply changing the default service bits to include NODE_WITNESS
  (and updating docs appropriately) is sufficient. For DNS Seeds, not
  supporting NODE_WITNESS is no longer useful, so instead use
  non-filtering seeds as oneshot hosts irrespective of named proxy.

  I've set my testnet-seed to also support x9, though because it is simply a static host, it may be useful to leave the support off so that it is used as a oneshot to get addresses from a live node instead. I'm fine with either.

Use smaller LLMQs in regtest (#3269)
* Rename LLMQ_5_60 to LLMQ_TEST

* Introduce -llmqtestparams which allows to modify LLMQ_TEST on regtest

Also add support in DashTestFramework

* Use parameters size=3, threshold=2 as default for LLMQ_TEST

And fall back to the old parameters where necessary

* Wait for all contributions, even when one member is lying

Otherwise we might end up continuing too fast, which would fail the DKG.

2f21e55514 Remove legacy InstantSend code (#3020)
* Remove ppszTypeName from protocol.cpp and reimplement GetCommand

This removes the need to carefully maintain ppszTypeName, which required
correct order and also did not allow to permanently remove old message
types.

To get the command name for an INV type, GetCommandInternal uses a switch
which needs to be maintained from now on.

The way this is implemented also resembles the way it is implemented in
Bitcoin today, but it's not identical. The original PR that introduced the
switch case in Bitcoin was part of the Segwit changes and thus never got
backported. I decided to implement it in a slightly different way that
avoids throwing exceptions when an unknown INV type is encountered.

IsKnownType will now also leverage GetCommandInternal() to figure out if
the INV type is known locally. This has the side effect of old/legacy
message types to return false from now on. We will depend on this side
effect in later commits when we remove legacy InstantSend code.

* Stop handling/relaying legacy IX messages

When we receive an IX message, we simply treat it as a regular TX and relay
it as such.

We'll however still request IX messages when they are announced to us. We
can't simply revert to requesting TX messages in this case as it might
result in the other peer not answering due to the TX not being in mapRelay
yet. We should at some point in the future completely drop handling of IX
messages instead.

Bump "keepOldConnections" by one for all LLMQ types (#2909)
And for llmq5_60, set it to 3 instead of 24 (which was incorrect from the
beginning).

Increasing all LLMQs "keepOldConnections" by one is required because we
don't use the tip when scanning active quorums, but a block that is 8 blocks
in the past. This however means that we need to keep connections for one
additional quorum alive.

This fixes an issue with signing sessions randomly failing with timeouts.

010752d4eb Set fAllowMultiplePorts to true for testnet (#2817)
On testnet it's quite usual to have multiple MNs on the same IP. Now that
we have LLMQs and DKGs which require deterministic intra quorum connections,
we must allow them to connect to each other even if the IPs are shared very
often.

In case we got INV items for the same CLSIG that we recreated through
HandleNewRecoveredSig, (re-)requesting of the CLSIG from other peers
becomes unnecessary.

* Move Cleanup() call in CChainLocksHandler::UpdatedBlockTip up

We bail out early in a few situations from this method, so that Cleanup()
might not be called while its at the bottom.

* Bail out from CChainLocksHandler::UpdatedBlockTip if we already got the CLSIG

* Call RemoveAskFor when QFCOMMITMENT was received

Otherwise we might end up re-requesting it for a very long time when the
commitment INV was received shortly before it got mined.

* Call RemoveSigSharesForSession when a recovered sig is received

Otherwise we end up with session data in node states lingering around until
a fake "timeout" occurs (can be seen in the logs).

* Better handling of false-positive conflicts in CSigningManager

The old code was emitting a lot of messages in logs as it treated sigs
for exactly the same session as a conflict. This commit fixes this by
looking at the signHash before logging.

Also handle a corner-case where a recovered sig might be deleted between
the HasRecoveredSigForId and GetRecoveredSigById call.

* Don't run into session timeout when sig shares come in slow

Instead of just tracking when the first share was received, we now also
track when the last (non-duplicate) share was received. Sessios will now
timeout 5 minutes after the first share arrives, or 1 minute after the last
one arrived.

of the inverse fAssumeMasternodeIsUpgraded. It is set to false by default
and only set to true in CreateNewBlock.

cd9c6994c2 Implement named devnets (#1791)
* Initial devnet

* Move genesis block adding into its own method

* Introduce -allowprivatenet to lift limitation on RFC1918 addresses

Normally, RFC1918 (192.168.x.x/10.x.x.x/...) addresses are not allowed
to be relayed. Also, masternodes won't start when the address is considered
invalid.

This is needed to test local devnet or regtest based networks.

* Lift the requirement of minimum MN age for regtest/devnet

* Implement named devnets

This allows the creation of multiple independent devnets. Each one is
identified by a name which is hardened into a "devnet genesis" block,
which is automatically positioned at height 1. Validation rules will
ensure that a node from devnet=test1 never be able to accept blocks
from devnet=test2. This is done by checking the expected devnet genesis
block.

The genesis block of the devnet is the same as the one from regtest. This
starts the devnet with a very low difficulty, allowing us to fill up
needed balances for masternodes very fast.

Also, the devnet name is put into the sub-version of the VERSION message.
If a node connects to the wrong network, it will immediately be disconnected.

* Allow to select multiple addresses from the same group in devnet/regtest

The selection code normally only allows to select addresses from the same
group (e.g. 192.168.x.x) once. This results in connecting to only a single
node in devnet/regtest.

* Show the devnet name in the title bar and on the loading screen

* Add AllowMultipleAddressesFromGroup to chainparams and use it in net.cpp

* Remove unused/unneeded scripts from devnet geneses creation

169afafd50 Fix duplicate headers download in initial sync (#1589)
* Fix duplicate headers download in initial sync

Now that initial block download is delayed until the headers sync is done,
it was noticed that the initial headers sync may happen multiple times in
parallel in the case new blocks are announced. This happens because for
every block in INV that is received, a getheaders message is immediately
sent out resulting in a full download of the headers chain starting from
the point of where the initial headers sync is currently at. This happens
once for each peer that announces the new block. This slows down the
initial headers sync and increases the chance of another block being
announced before it is finished, probably leading to the same behavior
as already described, slowing down the sync even more...and so on.

This commit delays sending of GETHEADERS to later in case the chain is too
far behind while a new block gets announced. Header chains will still be
downloaded multiple times, but the downloading will start much closer
to the tip of the chain, so the damage is not that bad anymore.

This ensures that we get all headers from all peers, even if any of them
is on another chain. This should avoid what happened in
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/8054
which needed to be reverted later.

This fixes the Bitcoin issue https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/6755

* Introduce DelayGetHeadersTime chain param and fix tests

The delaying of GETHEADERS in combination with very old block times in
test cases resulted in the delaying being triggered when the first newly
mined block arrives. This results in a completely stalled sync.

This is fixed by avoiding delaying in when running tests.

* Disconnect peers which are not catched up

Peers which stop sending us headers too early are very likely peers which
did not catch up before and stalled for some reason. We should disconnect
these peers and chose another one to continue.

ccee103a0e Backport "assumed valid blocks" feature from Bitcoin 0.13 (#1582)
* IBD check uses minimumchain work instead of checkpoints.

This introduces a 'minimum chain work' chainparam which is intended
 to be the known amount of work in the chain for the network at the
 time of software release.  If you don't have this much work, you're
 not yet caught up.

This is used instead of the count of blocks test from checkpoints.

This criteria is trivial to keep updated as there is no element of
subjectivity, trust, or position dependence to it. It is also a more
reliable metric of sync status than a block count.

* Remove GetTotalBlocksEstimate and checkpoint tests that test nothing.

GetTotalBlocksEstimate is no longer used and it was the only thing
 the checkpoint tests were testing.

Since checkpoints are on their way out it makes more sense to remove
 the test file than to cook up a new pointless test.

* IsInitialBlockDownload no longer uses header-only timestamps.

This avoids a corner case (mostly visible on testnet) where bogus
 headers can keep nodes in IsInitialBlockDownload.

* Delay parallel block download until chain has sufficient work

nMinimumChainWork is an anti-DoS threshold; wait until we have a proposed
tip with more work than that before downloading blocks towards that tip.

* Add timeout for headers sync

At startup, we choose one peer to serve us the headers chain, until
our best header is close to caught up.  Disconnect this peer if more
than 15 minutes + 1ms/expected_header passes and our best header
is still more than 1 day away from current time.

* Introduce assumevalid setting to skip presumed valid scripts.

This disentangles the script validation skipping from checkpoints.

A new option is introduced "assumevalid" which specifies a block whos
 ancestors we assume all have valid scriptsigs and so we do not check
 them when they are also burried under the best header by two weeks
 worth of work.

Unlike checkpoints this has no influence on consensus unless you set
 it to a block with an invalid history.  Because of this it can be
 easily be updated without risk of influencing the network consensus.

This results in a massive IBD speedup.

This approach was independently recommended by Peter Todd and Luke-Jr
 since POW based signature skipping (see PR#9180) does not have the
 verifiable properties of a specific hash and may create bad incentives.

The downside is that, like checkpoints, the defaults bitrot and older
 releases will sync slower.  On the plus side users can provide their
 own value here, and if they set it to something crazy all that will
 happen is more time will be spend validating signatures.

Checkblocks and checklevel are also moved to the hidden debug options:
 Especially now that checkblocks has a low default there is little need
 to change these settings, and users frequently misunderstand them as
 influencing security or IBD speed.  By hiding them we offset the
 space added by this new option.

9745914c15 remove hardcoded strDarksendPoolDummyAddress (#828)
- use "" account address instead
- remove `collateralPubKey` and `SetCollateralAddress()` from darksend and create `dummyScriptPubkey` and `InitDummyScriptPubkey()` in masternodeman instead
- initialize `dummyScriptPubkey` before loading cache otherwise MNs could be removed because of the invalid tx

e8d9aabb62 Move many hardcoded mainnet/testnet magic numbers to consensus part of chainparams,
get rid of most `if(Params().NetworkIDString() == CBaseChainParams::MAIN)` and alike to unify formulas.
Further improvements will require testnet restart (see TODO notes in changed code) so I'm keeping few things as they are till then.

eece63fa72 Switch blocks to a constant-space Merkle root/branch algorithm.
This switches the Merkle tree logic for blocks to one that runs in constant (small) space.
The old code is moved to tests, and a new test is added that for various combinations of
block sizes, transaction positions to compute a branch for, and mutations:
 * Verifies that the old code and new code agree for the Merkle root.
 * Verifies that the old code and new code agree for the Merkle branch.
 * Verifies that the computed Merkle branch is valid.
 * Verifies that mutations don't change the Merkle root.
 * Verifies that mutations are correctly detected.

391dff16fe Do not store Merkle branches in the wallet.
Assume that when a wallet transaction has a valid block hash and transaction position
in it, the transaction is actually there. We're already trusting wallet data in a
much more fundamental way anyway.

To prevent backward compatibility issues, a new record is used for storing the
block locator in the wallet. Old wallets will see a wallet file synchronized up
to the genesis block, and rescan automatically.

5fb5c9b213 Clean up chainparams some more.
Clean up the code in chainparams a bit more after the recent
refactorings.  In particular, make sure the structure of the "RegTest"
params matches the structure of the other classes.  This makes the code
clearer to read.

Also remove redundant values of the genesis block in always-specified
optional arguments and mark variable/argument as "const".

f0deec572b chainparams: move CCheckpointData into chainparams.h
This unties CChainParams from its dependency on checkpoints. Instead, now it
only depends on the raw checkpoint data.
