* Drop registry deletion of the old key
* Drop no longer used CGovernanceObjectVoteFile::RemoveOldVotes()
* Drop temporary disconnect code and bump min protos to 70213
* drop comment
* fix
* Split up remaining logic from CMasternodeMan into CMasternodeMetaMan and CMasternodeUtils
Also get rid of CMastermode and store remaining meta info
in CMasternodeMetaInfo
* Also allow non-const T in Serialize/Unserialize for shared_ptr
* Rename CActiveDeterministicMasternodeManager to CActiveMasternodeManager
* Fix nowallet compile in masternode-utils.cpp
* Remove CActiveLegacyMasternodeManager
* Remove sentinelping RPC
* Remove unused P2P messages and inv types
There are still places where these are used in the code. The next commits
will clean these up.
* Remove MNB/MNP/MNVERIFY related code from masternode(man).h/cpp
* Remove all legacy code regarding block MN payee voting
* Remove MASTERNODE_SYNC_LIST and MASTERNODE_SYNC_MNW states
Also replace all uses of IsMasternodeListSynced and IsWinnersListSynced
with IsBlockchainSynced.
* Remove unsupported masternode RPCs
* Remove UpdateLastPaid methods
* Remove duplicate deterministicmns.h include
* Remove masternode.conf support
* Remove legacy MN lists support from masternode list GUI
* Remove unnecessary AskForMN call
* Remove compatibility code in CPrivateSendQueue::GetSignatureHash
* Don't add locally calculated MN payee in case GetBlockTxOuts failed
This is not valid in DIP3 mode
* Remove check for IsDeterministicMNsSporkActive in "masternode status"
* Move CMasternode::IsValidNetAddr to CActiveDeterministicMasternodeManager
* Remove use of CMasternode::CheckCollateral in governance code
* Remove uses of MASTERNODE_SENTINEL_PING_MAX_SECONDS/MASTERNODE_SENTINEL_PING_MAX_SECONDS
* Remove support for "-masternodeprivkey"
* Remove pre-DIP3 vote cleanup
* Remove compatibility code for quorumModifierHash/masternodeProTxHash
* Remove check for invalid nBlockHeight in CMasternodePayments::GetBlockTxOuts
...and let it crash instead. We expect this method to be called with the
correct height now (after DIP3 was fully deployed).
* Remove ECDSA based Sign/CheckSignature from CGovernanceObject
Only masternodes sign governance objects, so there is no need for ECDSA
support here anymore.
* Always add superblock and MN reward payments into new block
* Always check block payees (except if fLiteMode==true)
* Always allow superblock and MN payees in same block
* Remove/Fix a few references to masternode.conf and related stuff
Also delete guide-startmany.md and masternode_conf.md
* Implement NotifyMasternodeListChanged signal and call governance maintenance
* Remove non-DIP3 code path from CMasternodeMan::Find
* Remove remaining unused code from CMasternode/CMasternodeMan
* Always load governance.dat on startup
* Mine an empty block instead of incrementing nHeight from chain tip in miner tests
This test is crashing otherwise in GetBlockTxOuts as it tries to access a
previous block that is not existing.
* Skip MN payments verification on historical blocks (pre-DIP3 blocks)
Even though DIP3 was active on BIP9 level, the spork was not active yet at
that point meaning that payments were not enforced at that time.
* Remove unused state and CollateralStatus enums
* Unconditionally return false from IsBlockPayeeValid when IsTransactionValid returns false
IsTransactionValid already handles the case where IsDIP3Active() returns
false, making it return true.
* Add override keyword to CDSNotificationInterface::NotifyMasternodeListChanged
* Fix help for masternodelist status (POSE_BANNED and no OUTPOINT_SPENT)
* Replace IsDeterministicMNsSporkActive with IsDIP3Active
IsDIP3Active will now use a fixed parameter from consensus params.
Values for DIP0003Height/DIP0003Hash need to be updated when spork15
activates on mainnet.
Also enforce correct block hash on testnet/mainnet for DIP3 activation
block.
* Remove SPORK_15_DETERMINISTIC_MNS_ENABLED
* Replace all uses of IsDeterministicMNsSporkActive with IsDIP3Active
* Remove DIP3 upgrade-path tests and directly start with DIP3 enabled tests
* Make -masternodeprivkey non-mandatory
This code will vanish later.
* Check resulting signature for validity when signing with BLS operator keys
* Support specifying proTxHash when using "gobject vote-alias"
The "alias-name" is now interpreted as proTxHash when deterministic MN lists
are active.
The classical "alias" as found in masternode.conf has no meaning after
spork15 activation.
* Don't use masternode.conf list in gobject_vote_many when spork15 is active
Keys don't match anymore so we should only rely on the deterministic list
and the local wallet's keys.
* Check for pwalletMain not being null in gobject_vote_many
* Allow to use vote-conf for non-proposal votes when spork15 is active
This fixes sentinel not being able to create triggers on testnet.
* Fix error message
* Fix no-wallet compilation and check for pwalletMain at runtime
* Clear votes which were created before spork15 activation
* Reject incoming votes which were created pre-DIP3
* Only use voting keys for VOTE_SIGNAL_FUNDING
The other vote signals are meant to be emitted by sentinel and must thus
be signed with the operator key.
* Simplify GetMinVoteTime
* Review suggestions/fixes
* Add missing mutex in CGovernanceObject::RemoveOldVotes
* Remove reference to now removed "protocolVersion"
* Allow to use non-DIP3 collaterals after DIP3 activation
This removes a rule which only made sense when we assumed all collaterals
would remain in DIP3 ProRegTx transactions after DIP3 activation.
As we allow to refer external collaterals now, this rule should vanish as
well.
* Sleep in case block time is ahead of real time
See comment. This was not a problem before as we had enough time passed
between the last block that caused this and the start-alias call.
Now we added another start-alias call which is directly after we generated
many blocks.
* Use BLS keys for operator keys
* Add "bls generate" RPC to generate BLS keys
* Use unique_ptr to store blsKeyOperator and blsPubKeyOperator
Needed because the Chia BLS library crashes when keys are created before
the library is initialized, even if keys are not used. This is the case here
as we have static instances here.
* Remove unnecessary CheckSignature calls
This seems to be some garbage I left in by mistake.
* Fixed review comments
* Fix rpc help for operator keys
All keys that are used as examples are random. None of the secret keys
belongs to any of the public keys.
* Use .GetHash() instead of ::SerializeHash() for BLS pubkeys in txmempool.cpp
* Rename mapProTxBlsPubKeys to mapProTxBlsPubKeyHashes
* Split keyIDMasternode into keyIDOwner/keyIDOperator/keyIDVoting
keyIDOwner is the key used for things which should stay in control of the
collateral owner, like proposal voting.
keyIDOperator is the key used for operational things, like signing network
messages, signing trigger/watchdog objects and trigger votes.
keyIDVoting is the key used for proposal voting
Legacy masternodes will always have the same key for all 3 to keep
compatibility.
Using different keys is only allowed after spork15 activation.
* Forbid reusing collateral keys for operator/owner keys and vice versa
* Bump SERIALIZATION_VERSION_STRING in CMasternodeMan
* Split CActiveMasternode into CActiveMasternodeInfo and CLegacyActiveMasternodeManager
* Use CKeyID instead of CPubKey whenever possible in masternode code
* Rename activeMasternode to activeMasternodeInfo and make it a struct
* Rename pubKeyIDXXX to keyIDXXX
* Bump SERIALIZATION_VERSION_STRING
* Fix build error after rebase
* Fix compilation warning/error with clang
* remove instandsenddepth option
* remove CInstantSend::GetConfirmations
* Explicit IXlocks processing in the code using GetDepthInMainChain
* remove dummy confirmations for IX locks
* remove unused constant
* Track IS status in TransactionStatus
* Highlight IS in tx list
* Customize confirmation icons for IS txes
* Fix issues:
- bring back removed comment;
- simplify 2 complex condition to ose `IsTrusted()` function only;
- rename `IsLockedIX` function to 'IsLockedByInstantSend`;
* Revert condition with IsTrusted()
* code style fix
* remove dummy confirmations from instantsend.md
* fix instantsend.md
* No need for pointers to gobjects, can simply use hashes in RequestGovernanceObjectVotes
* Drop `swap` and `=` in GovernanceObject
Were used for shuffling, no longer needed
* replace boost casts in dash-specific code
Specifically for spork.cpp : this should be temporary until all spork
sigs are based on hash and not string serialization format, after which
I expect the old signatures (else branch) should go away altogether. But
I still think it's worth it to get pieces of the boost dependency
removed, and this is an easy win, and could be merged now or in a patch
release w/o issue.
* replace boost::shared_ptr w/std::shared_ptr
* move nStart closer to used and initialize it
* Quells warning displayed with `-Wmaybe-uninitialized` flag
* remove unused mnEntries vectors
* add devnet magic bytes to mininode.py
* remove unused governance-misc.h file
* remove old TODO comments
* replace map count/insert w/emplace in instantx.cpp
This feels like an optimization, something about:
```
if map.count(key)
return false
else
insert(pair)
return true
```
... just feels icky. Plus, `vote.GetMasternodeOutpoint()` is only called
once. The previous version might be slightly more readable, however.
* Revert "replace map count/insert w/emplace in instantx.cpp"
This reverts commit d7f876e86336170f2d6d3f20b6af26bcd0dc2b18.
* Drop CInstantSend::IsEnoughOrphanVotesForTxAndOutPoint
* small cleanup in rpc tests
* move some pieces from .h to .cpp
* fix few log outputs
* fix some comments
* some trivial fixes + readability
There are no watchdogs and it makes no sense to limit triggers by size (invalid triggers are going to be voted down anyway).
512 bytes should be more than enough for any proposal - the only value we do not check size of is URL and with 512 bytes total limit URL has space for almost 300 bytes.
* Make sure gobject collateral was mined
`CGovernanceObject::IsCollateralValid()` would still fail for non-mined collateral later trying to check confirmations
* Fix powLimit for mainnet/testnet
That's a legacy thing, slightly rising it to match the actual bit-shifted value has no effect because real values are already lower.
Also clarify values for all networks in comments.
* Check for script addresses in CSuperblock::ParsePaymentSchedule()
Sentinel should already be downvoting such triggers if they would exist, no need to store/relay them.
* Do not process already known valid vote twice in CGovernanceObject::ProcessVote()
This should be handled by `CGovernanceManager::ProcessVote()` but imo it's better to have this at the `CGovernanceObject::ProcessVote()` level as well.
* Make sure CGovernanceObjectVoteFile::AddVote() never adds/updates already known votes
The way `CGovernanceObjectVoteFile::AddVote()` is used (i.e. wrapped in `CGovernanceObjectVoteFile::HasVote()` condition) it's already the case. Hoever nothing would guarantee consistency if it would be used elsewhere without such wrapper, so it's better to have similar check inside.
* Do not even try mnb recovery when -connect is set
`CConnman::ThreadOpenMasternodeConnections()` thread won't even start when `-connect` is set, so no need to ask for recovery, there is nothing that is going to be able to process such request.
* No need for SIGHASH_ANYONECANPAY in PS collateral signature
Collateral is just a normal tx created and signed by each participant individually, there is no need for special sig types.
* Release semMasternodeOutbound in CConnman::Interrupt()
Re-align Dash code with Bitcoin.
* Avoid locking cs_main in CMasternode/Ping/Broadcast
Deligate this to CMasternodeMan and use AssertLockHeld instead
* Ensure consistent locking order (cs_main, cs_wallet, mempool.cs, cs_instantsend) in CInstantSend while avoiding potential deadlocks at the same time
* Add missing locks in wallet
* Add missing locks in governance
* Fix cs_vPendingMasternodes vs cs_main potential deadlock
SendVerifyRequest no longer opens connection directly, so no cs_main is needed here
* simplify gobject JSON format, remove unused fields
This allows gobject format to change from (for example):
```
[
[
"proposal",
{"object": "data-here"}
]
]
```
... to simply:
```
{"object": "data-here"}
```
The outer array isn't needed, and the first value in the 2-item tuple is
likewise discarded by DashCore. This change should allow either data
format to exist (we can deprecate/remove the older format later) and
remove the array of different type elements (string, object).
* validator test for legacy and new proposal formats
* Drop nBudgetProposalEstablishingTime
* Refactor: replace `== COutPoint()` with `.IsNull()`
* Refactor: add `operator bool()` to CMasternodePing
* Refactor: actually use `operator bool()` for CPendingDsaRequest
* Refactor: fixing code style in TrafficGraphData
* Fix some comments and whitespaces
* Drop CGovernanceVote::GetTypeHash()
* Drop legacy X11 code
No longer used... if it ever was used at all.
* Move `<boost/foreach.hpp>` out of coins.h
* Simplify CMasternodeBlockPayees::GetRequiredPaymentsString()
Also less of boost::lexical_cast
* Drop CTxDSIn::nSentTimes
* Fix few warnings
* fix warning (timer)
* fix nit
* Use SPORK_6_NEW_SIGS to switch from signing string messages to hashes (gobject)
* Use SPORK_6_NEW_SIGS to switch from signing string messages to hashes (gobjvote)
* Use SPORK_6_NEW_SIGS to switch from signing string messages to hashes (mnw)
* Use SPORK_6_NEW_SIGS to switch from signing string messages to hashes (txlvote)
* Use SPORK_6_NEW_SIGS to switch from signing string messages to hashes (dsq)
* Use SPORK_6_NEW_SIGS to switch from signing string messages to hashes (dstx)
* Use SPORK_6_NEW_SIGS to switch from signing string messages to hashes (spork)
* Use SPORK_6_NEW_SIGS to switch from signing string messages to hashes (mnb)
* Actually care about old signature format in mnp, otherwise we can start banning peers rather quickly
* Use SPORK_6_NEW_SIGS to switch from signing string messages to hashes (mnv)
* Unify sign/verify code a bit by using GetSignatureHash() (even when it matches GetHash())
* fix docs
* address review comments
* fix log output (copy/paste error)
* Replace custom GetSignatureHash/GetHash with serialization (where applicable)
* Convert from/to old format in SerializationOp only for p2p
* fix
I believe this was stubbed to eventually read the string in the 1st
field of the inner array in the gobject JSON. Currently only Sentinel
uses this and I would like to move to just a single JSON object, so
don't think this is necessary any longer.
* Drop BOOST_FOREACH in Dash-specific code (only), no changes in behavior
* Use references in loops (use const references where applicable) in Dash-specific code (only)
And adjust related code to make it compilable.
* Loop through nodes via connman.ForEachNode in dsq Relay instead of creating a copy
* CacheMap::Insert should not update existing item, should return `false`
* Use `emplace` operator instead of `[]` to add new items in Cache*Map implementation
* Use prefix cm/cmm for CacheMap/CacheMultiMap maps respectively to distinguish them from each other and from std::map-s
* Avoid excessive processing of already known valid votes
Also prettify debug log output a bit
* Drop nCurrentSize from Cache*Map classes
Use `size()` and `empty()` of std classes instead, they have constant complexity since c++11
* Do not create an explicit iterator if it's never used later (in Cache*Map)
* Do not prune last item in CacheMultiMapInsert when trying to insert a duplicate one
81e3228 Make CTransaction actually immutable (Pieter Wuille)
42fd8de Make DecodeHexTx return a CMutableTransaction (Pieter Wuille)
c3f5673 Make CWalletTx store a CTransactionRef instead of inheriting (Pieter Wuille)
a188353 Switch GetTransaction to returning a CTransactionRef (Pieter Wuille)
* Do not relay `mnp`, `mnb`, `mnw`, `govobj` and `govobjvote` until fully synced
This should massively lower outgoing traffic and load during sync process (especially on mainnet)
* Apply "no sync from me until I'm synced" rule to all nodes
